Ok, as promised, here we go!  I have waded through the plethora of comments and likes and shares and reblogs and follows and amazing, amazing feedback from my Freshly Pressed post.  I have finally found a way to rig my laptop so that it functions enough to not just crash every time I try to use it.  I am was caught up on my daily post challenge….oh well.  Down to business:

I was nominated for the Sunshine Blog Award by Tech Tard.  The original post is *here*.

Thank you so very much for nominating me for this award!  I have no idea what I’m doing, but whatever.  Picture, nominations, and answers to questions….I’m just jumping in head first 🙂

Questions:

  1. What inspired you to start blogging?  The idea just popped into my head one day.  I felt like I was in a rut in life and realized that I was really missing writing.  Then I thought, what’s the point in writing if no one will ever see it?
  2. How did you come up with the name for your blog?  The original name for my blog was my username because i had no idea what I was doing.  ‘Casual, Possibly-Nonsensicle Ramblings’ was the tagline because that was basically what I felt like I was posting – all these random thoughts rolling around in my head. When I did an overhaul to my blog to make it look better, I decided to make the tagline the main name.
  3. What is your favorite blog that you like to read? I read Thought Catalogue a lot.  The rest of the blogs I enjoy ar listed throughout this post as nominees.
  4. Tell about your dream job. I actually just came up with this idea of how amazing it would be to own a little shop downtown for some skill that you are good at and have your apartment be upstairs, so all you would have to do is walk down and you’re at work.  Plus, you could be your own boss.  But I don’t have any skill like that.  I would like to be able to make money from my writing some day.
  5. Is your glass half full or half empty?  Honestly, it depends on the day.  Or the time of day.  I get easily frustrated, so when things pile up my glass is definitely half empty.  However, at the same time, I am easily entertained and amused, so the simplest thing could happen that brightens my mood.
  6. If you could go anywhere for a week’s vacation, where would you go? New York.  No question about it.  I visited New York for a mere 9 hours a couple of years ago and did most of the tourist-y type things, but my favorite part was finding this little hole in the wall pub in the meat-packing district for dinner.  I could easily spend an entire week in New York just wandering the little side streets to find the amazing little shops and restaurants.  My favorite thing to do when visiting somewhere is to see the real city like the locals do and not just visit the well-known tourist attractions, and for whatever reason New York has a hold on me.
  7. What food can you absolutely not eat? Sausage links.  I don’t know what it is about them, but I can not do it.  Sausage patties are amazing, but the links just gross me out!
  8. Dark chocolate or milk chocolate? It depends on what it is.  I have a hard time eating dark chocolate on its own, but if it’s got caramel or something in it, then I refer dark over milk.  But if it’s just like a chunk of chocolate, I’d have to go with milk.
  9. How much time do you spend blogging – in other words, are you one of those lucky people who can dash off a blog post in no time, or like me and take forever on one post to get it just right? I think it depends on the subject.  Most of the time, it takes me quite a while because i re-read and make corrections or change directions throughout the whole thing.
  10. Do you watch tv – if so, what are some of your favorite shows? God, I have way too many shows!  My DVR is currently at 83% and I’m struggling to get caught up.  A few of my favorites are: Family Guy, Criminal Minds, Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, Person of Interest, The Walking Dead, The Big Bang Theory.  I could go on forever…
  1. I enjoyed reading your answers! That is the coolest idea about having a shop and living above it! 🙂 I get so jelous of people that sell things on etsy and come up with these crazy creative ideas haha im like HOW did you think of that!!! 🙂 ❤ Keep writing!
